It Happened!

Last night was the opening reception for the 2nd Annual Summer Art Showcase at the Covey Center for the Arts! Many of my family members came to support me and we had a fun time watching and listening to people’s reactions to my work. That was definitely a favorite aspect of the evening. And with my little 6×6″ canvas paper – my paintings took the cake for the smallest pieces in the show!
The show runs until July 28th, so if you are in the Provo area – take a look! And you can vote for your favorite as there is a people’s choice award. Muse of a Headdress is on the main level and Arpeggio in Bloom is on the second level.
Thanks again to each one of you for making last night a reality for me! My first art show since High School!

yay lorien!!!! congratulations girl! i’m so glad more people have been able to experience your art through this show! wish i was gonna be in utah in the next few weeks, i would absolutely love to come check it out. but alas, i am stuck in CA since…. i am due to have a baby in 2 weeks! woo hoo! (it just dawned on me i don’t think i ever told you! what an awful friend am i huh! sorry… i guess that’s what happens with no facebook acct to keep my peeps informed). anyway i’m so happy and excited for you, hope you just get more and more chances to share your extraordinary talent with the world. : )
